• A person seeking information may file an application in plain paper by giving particulars of the information being sought.
• The application along with the requisite fee to be posted to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management ,Autonomous Institute, Ministry of Textiles Govt Of India. 1483,
  Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore-641004.. In case application is received without the fees it would be considered an invalid application.
• In case request is made by e-mail, the fee should be deposited within seven days. Non-receipt of fee will implywithdrawal of request and no answer will be forwarded.

A nominal fee of Rs.10/- will be charged as application fee.

For information under Section 7, additional fee will be payable as under -

1. Rs. 2/- per page (A4 or A5).
2. Actual cost (for sizes bigger than A4 or A5).
3. In case of printed material -
1. Price of publication, or
2. Rs 2 per page in case of photocopies.
4. Actual cost for samples and models.
5. In case information is needed on disk or floppy - Rs 50/- per disk/floppy.

Inspection of records-
i. No fee for first hour.
ii. Rs 5/- per 15 minutes (or part thereof).

No fee, if the -
i. Requisitioner is below poverty line.
ii. CPIO has failed to reply within 30 days.

The fee is payable in cash/ IPO/demand draft/ favoring,Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management,Coimbatore.
