The Union Government under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , has laid stress on “Skill, Scale and Speed” and production with “zero defect and zero effect” for production, export and generation of employment on large scale for achieving the objective of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”.

I am delighted to know that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore is an autonomous Institute set up in the year 2002 under Ministry of Textiles, Government of India with an objective of professionalizing the Indian Textile Industry by creating competent managers as well as researchers who will be manning various facets of Textiles Industry. It is gratifying that the Institute is helping the Textile Industry in the realization of its objectives by consistently offering academic programmes, Industry related consultancy work, research studies etc., The Institute is helping students to get wide and varied exposure to the challenges before the Textile Industry and imbibing them with skill sets required to take the textile sector to a new trajectory.
