Professional Biography
Dr. M. Kannan serves as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at SVPISTM. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics and his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) from Bharathiar University. He obtained his Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Sri Vasavi College, Erode.
He successfully qualified the prestigious Tamil Nadu State Level Eligibility Test (TNSET–2016) conducted by Mother Teresa Women's University, attesting to his high caliber for university-level academic instruction.
His areas of specialization include Graph Labeling, Stochastic Processes, Queueing Theory, and Optimization Techniques. He has made significant research contributions with 14 research papers published in reputed national and international journals.
In addition to research papers, Dr. Kannan has authored two comprehensive academic textbooks in Mathematics. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE).
