Professional Biography
Dr. G. R. Poongodi graduated with B.Tech. in Textile Technology from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore in 1997. She earned her M.Tech. in Textile Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi in 2004, and completed her Ph.D. in Textile Technology from the Central Silk Board, Bangalore in 2014.
In 2019, she successfully qualified the National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) with an outstanding 93 percentile. She possesses over 19 years of broad teaching and research experience in top engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu.
Her research contributions are published across reputed national and international journals. She has orchestrated numerous academic symposiums, national conferences, fashion shows, and hands-on skill workshops for undergraduate and postgraduate scholars.
