Professional Biography
Ms. R. Priyanka is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textiles at SVPISTM. She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and earned her B.Tech. in Textile Technology from Jaya Engineering College, Chennai in 2012.
Qualifying GATE 2012 in her first attempt, she secured admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, completing her M.Tech. in Textile Engineering as an MHRD GATE Scholar in 2014.
Prior to academia, she served as a Quality Executive in the New Style Integration Department in export manufacturing for 3.6 years, handling rigorous international garment quality inspections. At SVPISTM, she instructs courses in yarn mechanics, quality systems, and technical textiles.
