Mr. S. Rajesh Kumar

Mr. S. Rajesh Kumar serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Textiles at SVPISTM. He completed his M.Tech. in Textile Technology at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, and is actively pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

He qualified GATE 2014 and was awarded the prestigious 'PSG Technovator Award' in recognition of outstanding excellence in his postgraduate research project. Furthermore, his research project addressing textile environmental sustainability received funding under the TEQIP initiative from the Govt. of India.

His technical expertise encompasses fabric manufacturing, textile testing, 2D/3D fabric structure simulation, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in textiles. He has published books, book chapters, and research articles in international journals, and is an active Member of The Institution of Engineers (India) (MIE).
