Programme Overview
Technical Textiles is the fastest growing frontier in the textile domain, covering engineered materials for defense, healthcare, automotive, aerospace, civil engineering, and agriculture. SVPISTM offers this specialized programme to train skilled technocrats in functional fibers, high-performance composites, and nonwovens in collaboration with CUTN.
Eligibility Criteria
| Qualifying Examination | Pass in Plus Two (+2) examination or equivalent from any recognized board in India. |
| Required Stream | Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. |
| Minimum Marks | 50% marks for General Category; 45% marks for OBC (NCL) / EWS / SC / ST / PWD candidates. |
| Selection Process | Selected through CUET-UG or Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Entrance Test (SVP ET). |
